I miss Balotelli

The team misses him, can't wait for him to get back in action. If he'd been available all season I'm sure we'd be a lot closer to the rags.
How can you miss him, he's hardly played, when he has he's done very little. His hat trick game was of Adebayor proportions on the workrate front. We've had 3 attacking players all season that have looked effective, Tevez, Johnson & Silva, the rest have been a damp squib!
The team will miss Johnson!

When he is fit how do people see him fitting in? Can he play mario, dzeko and tevez?
Mr Balotelli himself was 100% spot on when he said the Tévez-Džeko-Balotelli front three will be the best front three in Europe. Look at them individually: Tévez- power, passion, fight, work rate, desire, goals; Džeko- left foot, right foot, headers, hold up qualities, good movement, goals; Balotelli- speed, skill, confidence, flair, goals. Look at them as a trio: their individual qualities are all different in such a way that they compliment each other into being one great strikerforce. At the moment we are very disjointed, haphazard, disorganised, frustrating and we aren't firing. These three haven't played together as a three yet, when it happens, well, I just can't wait!

With Silva pulling the strings just behind the trio. His vision and quality could provide so much for these three, and he could feed off them and bag some for himself. Give Yaya a free role, let him decide if the game needs an attacking, powerful midfielder to make marauding runs forward and get us into good positions up the pitch; or whether we need a more defensive minded player (don't forget that Silva and Tévez have fantastic defensive qualities as well as attacking ones, and even Balotelli is brilliant at defending corners as he stands in that front area where the taker often doesn't beat that first man - so it's not as if these players will be too attack minded!). With de Jong sitting and doing his thing as he does better than anyone in the world now, in my opinion.

We just need to settle our back four. Set a four that we can play consistently, week-in-week-out. My choice would be either Richards-Boateng-Kompany-Kolorov or Zabaleta-Richards-Kompany-Kolorov. Then as we play better ahead of Hart we will risk far fewer dangerous situations for him to struggle with.

I've been pretty negative today, and I have justified why, many others have done the same. But I have also said that there are things to be very positive about and this team:
----------------------------Hart---------------------------
Richards--------Boateng--------Kompany--------Kolorov
------------------de Jong--------Yaya---------------------
----------------------------Silva---------------------------
------------Tévez------------------------Balotelli----------
----------------------------Džeko--------------------------
...is one of them!

Let's really dump off some of the shitter players and those who don't contribute and bring in some better ones, young, up and coming, hungry, not overly expensive (so they can't be English!) - and we'll be much better next season!

couldnt agree more

we obviously have to rotate but what we need are players that can play this system....we do need another player in the silva mould (assaulin?? when he is ready??) could aj be converted to that role?

it'd be nice if this side could get a run of games, always seems like there's a player or two absent that abandons those plays, but that's football.

Didn't take to him at first but he is quality, just needs to stop falling over after very little contact like he does sometimes and he'll be great.

We'll have missed both of 'em. Balotelli is the one forward who I think puts the shit up defenders. Unknown, unpredictable, taps, shots outside the box - WTF is he gonna do next. We have seen little of him but the little we have seen has lit up the match to bonfire proportions.

I miss him, not just for his individual skill but I wana see...

Tevez, Dzeko and Balotelli

Don't we all?

I miss him so much it hurts.

11 games, 8 goals in a brand new side and a brand new league. I'd like to see what your definition of doing something is if that isn't it.
