most random thread of the week award goes to......................

i just stumbled across some youtube vids and it brought back memories, he's exactly what wee need right now. great passer, great vision and brings out the best in players (i.e. ireland)

Could still be special if he stays fit and gets back to full fitness (weight included). Just hope he can stay fit next time or I think he will run out of chances. :(

Totally agree... i have been longing to see him play now for a long time... just the type of midfielder we are missing at the moment...
Get well soon Johnno

yeah i do it quite alot myself, its a shame he getting an injury history like onouha, truly gifted player though

look on the bright side, he's projected to be back for june 10th. he can ease back to fitness SLOWLY in those 2 months before the prem and then start propper training with the squad (whatever it will be ;) ) when the prem starts instead of rushing into it. would love an academy player to be our key player in the future :)

Like it or not, with our current resources he will be replaced. Also, is he really a top four team class player?

Miss him alot imo. Great player when fully fit and on his game.

Agree. Big lad, good shot, great pass, can tackle. If he doesn't come back fitter and stronger - he is exactly what we are missing at the moment - it will be one of the biggest wastes of a talent since Stan Bowles picked up his winnings for the 3.30 at Haydock.

I also think that Johnson would be an improvement on Lampard in the England team.

Undoubtedly.

Whether we see that level from him again is another matter though. I certainly hope so.
