i miss johnno :( (pro-johnno thread)

I miss him too. I really hope we can see him back at full fitness for city. I think he could still do a great job.

He's a class player, he's home grown, he's English, he nuts reds.

There's a song in there somewhere

Oh how we crave a central midfielder who can play a simple one two and break forward. Not that much to ask, surely!?

i know, its the classic issue of so close yet so far :(

it's been a great shame, that he has been plagued with injuries, he is exactly what we need in the middle.
The eye for a pass, the ability the pick up in he middle are drive it forward is a quality we really lack!

He lost the plot way before he got injured, so much so that it's taken this long for some to forget the turgid performanes. He is the type of player we need, he should have 100 prem games under his belt by now and have improved with it. So many questions remain as to weather he'll make it, but I hope he does!

Johnson or Rodwell?

Johnson if he'd have stayed fit. He showed he could do it week, week out untill his groin problem.

Real shame about his ACL going aswell. Had mine fixed in December, and am chomping at the bit to play again.

I can understand him putting on a bit of timber, as not playing does your head in and going on the static bikes just don't fill that football gap, and hope he comes back, and shows he can still do it.

would be fantastic to see him get back to full fitness, recon he would easily get back into first team.

Move on, he's finished.

-- Thu Mar 18, 2010 10:00 pm --

Move on, he's finished.

Move on, he's finished.

of couse he's not! he can lose weight and get his head streight whilst he's out until early june and then he has 2 months to slowly ease back into fitness. i just hope that he goes on bluemoon (like some players do) and realises that he can still be a legend here, and a hero to the fans! but only if he is up to the challenge

if one of his mates is reading this tell him that bluemooners are on his side :)

Very mixed on this one, needs to lay off the booze etc, but has shown he has talent, though he did go missing after January during the Sven reign, though tbf I think everyone in that team went missing after January that season

Is this a serious question?

Johnson can be class. When he recovers from this injury and if he can avoid any more serious one's we'll see a really, really good player!

My favorite player, god damn how I miss him. And most likely will never play more than a handful of matches in city. How great could this guy be? We will never know :\
