I miss the Manchester Coat of Arms on cup final shirts

They were a thing of beauty. I think, IIRC, that they were a tribute to mark the 50th anniversary of the 1969 final. Pity the club (to the best of my knowledge) never had them for sale.

Annoys me how that lot wear MCR Coat of Arms in finals. There's only one club from Manchester and it's Manchester City FC.

That's the one I'll be wearing at Wembley, as with all but one of our FA Cup matches over the years.
The only exception was the Wigan final, so I accept full responsibility :-(

I'm surprised the club don't embrace the coat of arms for cup final shirts. If nothing else it would produce another revenue stream with a new wave of replica shirts

I have only owned 1 City shirt in my life for the Spurs final in 81. Loved that shirt with the badge.

I have the Manchester Coat of Arms on the front and back of a t shirt.

Because it is so distinctive and unusual it garners lots of attention & questions.

Be superb if it could be on our shirts against the out of town stretford franchise.
