He got praise last season and the season before, because he wasn't strolling around the pitch as though he couldn't give 2 shits about anything.
I could say the same about half of our players this season.
He's still young and we've all seen what he can do, but ffs he has been awful this year.
We should keep him but in no way should he come near the starting XI. Drop him to the bench, or even the reserves and let him work himself out. I'm hoping for an Ireland-esque turnaround.

Kind of nonsensical... of course if hes playing well he'll get praised, whats your point?
He's also shown this season he's simply disinterested and not up to being a part or our starting XI... so because one season is good, the other bad, were just meant to blind wait to see if he can be arsed performing again?
No, the point is that we dont just right him off cos he's having one bad season. Its not like every other player has been having the season of their lives, so why single him out ?
Whilst hes putting no effort in at all he's as good as a right off, look at the Cheslea Bolton game to see how fine the line between success and failure is in this league, Micah giving nothing at all has cost us the best part of six goals in two games and countless goals this season... What more can we do, if he was giving his all and not up to it, fair enough, but thats not the case here...
Noticed that everytime he gets a ball he is looking to pass it back to anyone behind him,whenever he gets the ball going forward he invariabley stops then passes it back to Dunne or Given or anyfucker that happens to be behind him. He stopped being a great prospect when HE started to believe all the shit that was written about 'the next captain of England'

If Micah pulled his finger out and put the same effort in as the likes of Ireland and Nedum, then firstly we probably wouldn't have conceded 6 goals in the last 2 matches, secondly he'd be one of the best players in the team, and thirdly he'd probably be first choice, or even close to being Englands right-back.
Other players show a similar lack of effort, although not in such critical ares of the pitch, but the thing that grates with me is he's shown in the past that he is easily capable of performing twice as well as he does now. I'm not saying we should get rid of him, because he could be so good, what he needs is a kick up the arse and to realise that his whole demeanour right now is completely unacceptable. For their 3rd goal he was just jogging a few yards behind Dempsey, watching him make a run into the box, leaving him totally free to score. Why is he so complacent just to allow the opposition attckers get goal side of him, every single time? It happened time after time today and against Hamburg and it's cost us dearly.
