I still think we will win the league

We cannot win two back to back games against relegation fodder.

No way are we winning it. Biggest missed opportunity I can remember.
 
Time to lock this thread I think. No way we're winning 9 out of 9. Leicester would have to totally implode for anything less to suffice. I've no idea where we'll actually finish or whether CL progression would be a good or bad thing in terms of getting top 4.
 
I am as optimistic as the next person regarding all things Blue but we are simply not good enough this season.

It has the feeling of end of term about it with both club, management and players in a state of flux until Pep arrives.

Indeed. As long as the players don't mind a season out of the Champions League then I suppose it's fine that they knocked off for the summer about 6 months early. West Ham and Liverpool are currently so much better than us, I really don't make us anywhere near favourites for top 4 at this moment.
 
It's not the points gap that worries me, which is considerable, nor the remaining fixtures but our clueless tactics and poor performance. i don't think you can call it form anymore, it's been since October, form is temporary, this is long term.

Liverpool are definitely coming up on the rails and playing much better than they were. If we don't win next week we are in big trouble for top 4.
