I don't think it's bad music at all. I think they write some pretty good stuff. 'Blacklist' and 'Chelsea Smile' show progression from the previous album. 'Pray for Plagues' shows progress from This is What the Edge of Your Seat was Made For, 'Chelsea Smile' shows a lot of progression from Count Your Blessings, and 'Blacklist' shows a lot of progression from Suicide Season. However, Kerrang! enjoy over-rating every fucking emo band around. I bloody hate Kerrang!. Bring Me the Horizon are on the front every week.
