Barry is starting to prove his worth as far as I'm concerned. Yes, he should have done better to stop the goal but he was playing multiple positions during that game and his work rate was phenomenal.
I agree to an extent.
He's good at keeping hold off the ball & distributing but he has the pace of a tortoise and turns like the titanic. Shocking lack of movement for their first goal and in my opinion not good enough for where we want to be.
He needs fining a weeks wages for the 1st goal yesterday. All he had to do was track a runner....easy stuff. You absolutely cannot afford to lose concentration against teams like Arsenal, and he did that yesterday. However, I don't know about getting rid of him from the team - seems a bit excessive.
He has had maybe two poor games this season on the whole much improved true yesterday was a slip. Problem is people judge on the past and not whats actually been happening.
