he is not box to box .
he also creates nothing .
has no vision .
he will never score .
.now i would also say,,,,, i do like him before the people attack me.....but he surely cant stay in our team just cos he can tackle ...
MILNER.tackles a bit .scores and passes .
yaya. tackle and passes.looks like he would score from midd .
barry.chips in with odd goal now n then .and tackles and passes..
so in all honesty de jong should be left out ..

He isn't there to create. We have plenty of players to do that. He's there to stop the opposition from scoring. And he does it better than anybody else.

I think the three CM's we will use will be Milner, Yaya and Barry. Nige will probably be used in games where we have to be very careful...ie. Chelsea at Stamford bridge.

Other than that he would be good to bring on after 70 mins if we have to defend a lead or could force Barry out of the XI if he doesn't up his game soon.

Without NdJ, they wouldnt have a license to do that.

de Jong's job on the pitch is to break up the other team's play, win the ball and lay it off to a City player so we can regain posession and go on the attack.

Simple and very effective.

Your argument (imho) is like saying the oil filter has no value as it doesn't make a loud growling noise when you rev the engine.
