I have been approached by a local businessman to run some seminars/motivational speaking type gigs in the next few months. It’s not something I have done before but he was inspired by my story, ambition and effervescence. Reading previous threads there seems to be some people on here who are lacking in confidence, regular work and maybe not fulfilling their potential- I want to make you all aware of the event in the hope that I can help some fellow blues open their eyes to what is possible for them.

All the seminars will be 100% free and light refreshments will be provided. (TBC) This is part of BB2.0’s continued pledge to ‘put something back’ in 2011. My aim is to empower all attendees to reach their maximum potential, that could be anything from finding a new job, a promotion a new relationship or simply having more money to buy your favourite leathers or denims at wknds- in short I want YOU to unlock your true worth.

Not decided on a location as yet but I want to have it in central Manchester to allow as many as possible to hear what I have to say, the message will centre around who you are and where you want to be.

Has anyone ever spoken/attended this type of gig before?

Will there be Karaoke ?

Fbloke, with all due respect I do not want to follow the rules. I want my performance to inspire the business community of our city. I want to step off stage confident that I have created the future Alan Sugars, Nick Leesons and Richard Bransons.

I don't want to follow the same old rhetoric, I want people to be blown away and people to adore me.

Sorry, that sounds a bit crass. I don't mean adore me personally, more the story, the inspiration the passion of my message.

Of course I don't know you personally and I was being a little bit cheeky with my comments.

But I would, if I were in your position, want to take as many people on my journey as I can.

You wont capture them all as that rarely happens, but be aware that its easy for people to become disenfranchised from what you say if they cannot visualise themselves in it.

Your picture wouldnt come up for some reason but I've seen you before BB and you are a fine specimen of a man. Was only messing pal and it was indeed a crass comment :)
