I was at the game today and this is what happened...

it really was a game of two halves today.....shocking in the first, reasonably good in the second

Behave yourself Mr Gloom.......Thought we played well 2nd half and if we had got the goal earlier we have won convincingly. Good spirit in this team. Pitch and the ref didn't help either.

Reasonably good? We absolutely battered them, and but for Gordon would have scored 3 or 4
& with a bit more composure we would have, so i will agree that it was only reasonably good in the second half (although the elephant man will be very grateful that he inherited the best scottish keeper in many a year, and he had a charmed life today)

There were two turning points in the game, when Jones went off (either injured or Liverpool had put in a half time bid..) which meant sunderland had no one to hold the ball up. Secind turning point was RSC sub, we held the ball up much better and Tevez was no longer isolated and feeding off scraps.

I agree with nearly everything mate, esp. about Vieira.
As for Micah, sorry, he was (IMO) atrocious.

Well said, wanders about as if he has all the time in the world. The goal was his fault, never closed the attacker down!Tried to support him in the past but today was the final straw, get rid City, you wont win anything with Micah in the team.

forget winning anything, we'll never get into europe with richards ireland and SWP.

Same last year but Dunne can take as much of the blame for failing to qualify, thankfully at least Hughes could see he was crap in time.

Hopefully Mancini is only playing Ireland; Richards and SWP due to lack of options and we will see the back of these this close season
