I was sat a few ailses down and was left baffled by the what i thought i had seen. It appears i was correct and the guy i witnessed kick the ball was being turfed out. Couldn't quite believe it.

If there is any justice in this MCFC ought to reward you and your lad with 2 free wembley tickets and sack the steward in question.

I was in the south stand today but did not witness this.

I'm in no way the sort of person that rails against authority but I know how authority works.
If the OP is left to fight this apparent injustice alone he will be hung out to dry.
If you saw this and you thought he was harshly treated as it would appear from this thread then it is vital that you get a letter or email to Peter Fletcher and tell him exactly what you saw and why you thought it was wrong.

I think it would also be a good idea for the H&S rules to be available on Bluemoon for all to see.

Even still, point still stands. Health and safety risk of getting one in the face during the game is greater than what you did, utterly ludicrous.

I understand the stewards hava a difficult job to do and probably, on the whole, do a pretty good job. This however is madness. I dont give a monkeys if they are told to take this stance by the club. What the hell ever happened to someone taking responsibility and having a quiet word?

A public apology is now required. I hope someone has got some balls at the club and steps forward and speaks up.

Cant we organise some sort of petition to show our utmost disapproval over this heavyhandedness of the 'stewards'? They are supposed to be there for our safety NOT to spoil our day for some piss take reason only known to them.
