I wish we were out of the Europa

Pub competition not really worth playing in. Its the Carling cup of europe except you have to play 20 games to win it. Massive drain on playing staff and the fixture list. That said we are out of the Carling cup and need to see what happens with the FA. We just need to win something at the end of the day.

Crap tournament, too many games and very little kudos for winning it. I wish we were out because it's just a distraction. What say you?

I'm sure Aris Salonika will be grateful for your support in 4 weeks time.

If we were usually a regular in the champions league then I agree with you. We are on the way up to that though. So european experience is good for the team. Also we have a good shout of winning it, and you allude to the carling cup but i'd take winning that above not winning anything.

If we win the Uefa do you think that the banner will stay up? I just want that ripping down as soon as possible and if thats by winning the Uefa this year rather than the league or champions league in 2 or 3 years well lets do it.

Success breeds success.

I can't believe this thred exists.

We've not won a trophy for 34 years and we have a geniuine chance to win this and some fans wish we get knocked out.

Unreal.

If a club cannot accommodate several competitions across a season they might as well settle for mid-table mediocrity.

There are a number of teams left in the Europa League which would grace the CL, so it's only looked at as a second rate competition re the prize money, and the minute yer start pickin' and choosin' what yer gonna do well in, it'll blow up in yer face!

love it, cut down on away trips in prem & put money towards euro trips, cant afford to do both,
tickets for average away in prem £35-£45
easyjet flight - manchester athens £40.99

great experience for the players for upcoming Champs league (fingers crossed)
