It was Welly Road for me!!

Ian Browns Aunti and Uncle live about 4 doors down from me too! and all that side of the family are City fans and mostly S/C holders!
John Squire is also from Timperley!

John Squire lived across the road from Ian Brown on Sylvan Avenue. They went Heys Lane together.
Brown also worked for a short time in the old Sale Jobcentre.


Also, there are no streets in Timperley. Despite Frank's song Panic on the streets of Timperley.
FS, lives in one of the cottages on the left as you go over the hill into Timperley village, opposite the athletics track.

I used to sign on at the same time as Browny at Roberts House when I was a student claiming Dole Money during my summer hols (it was allowed then).
