Ian Darke - Do You Rate Him?

Just thought I'd resurrect this thread to say what a dreadful football commentator Darke is. His cliché riddled bias is always a painful listen.

A few times in the game last night he claimed we 'smashed' the ball clear when our defenders clearly played a cushioned pass to feet. Also, his obsession with the cost of our players and mythically large squad size is tiresome.

I'll say this, I didn't have the Tyler Aguerooooo commentary during 'that' game cos I live in yankeeland these days. Not sure who he was working for but I had Darke and remember enjoying his commentary immensely. To be fair someone could have shat on my face during that moment and I would have still thought it was sunshine, lollipops and rainbows.
