I disagree.No one is going to lose sleep over Ian Watkins’ well-being but it’s not a good thing that we can’t keep convicted criminals safe in our own prisons.
He got a fair trial and a judge and jury sentenced him to a prison term, not to be killed in prison.
hopefully he survives and serves every last day of the rest of his very lengthy term.
Unfortunately this seems to be part of a wider issue, with serious prisoner on prisons assaults up 30% on the year, deaths in custody are up 10% and suicides up 26%.
