Evidence : "Wright and Schmeichel ended up sharing a sofa as two of the less perceptive TV pundits, but at their peak with Arsenal and Manchester United respectively they shared only mutual contempt. In the tunnel at Highbury, after one of their frequent altercations, the England striker alleged that the Dane had subjected him to racial abuse. Schmeichel, who would be cleared of the accusation by the FA, later accused Wright of being the bigoted one.

Schmeichel: He's tasteless, vulgar, prejudiced and a complete idiot."
