I like SWP and that,even if at times he frustrates the hell out of me by doing the simple things wrong.It makes me laugh though how his dickhead of a Dad keeps mouthing off about the club saying Shaun is City through and through and now City are taking advantage of that.Oh right yeah is that why he went to Chelsea then is it Ian?Oh and for the record I didn't blame him for leaving at the time and hoped he would go on to be a star at Chelsea.

Wrighty is screwing it up big style. making contract negotiations public will cause major issues, Now if city do decide to give in it make it look as thought there is no back bone to the management and everyone will take the piss.

My view is Sturridge tried it on and failed, SWP is now trying it on and he needs to fail too, no matter how much i like the guy city come 1st and we can't be seen to be soft, certainly not now.

I'm on Shaun and Ian's side! nobody at our club should be being paid more than £100k/wk on an initial contract, and certainly not players like Adebayor and Toure! initial contracts should be about £90k no matter who you are, then if you can prove you've done the business or helped us win a trophy then you may be given a new improved contract! if you've been at the club for 5years and you're becoming a club legend and City man then you may be given the silly money! until then players like Shaun should not be left behind when dross like Toure get paid double, more than double than them!

I'm totally on their side and feel the club or certain people at the club are not being fair to all men! okay SWP isn't quite the player he was 5 years ago but neither is Toure yet he was offered stupid money for a player who will be a future City regular substitute or be playing for Birmingham or Sunderland! I'd be fuckin disgusted if I worked with an inept workmate who was getting more than double what I was, whether I was on £60k/wk or not that makes no difference!

The only thing now is that Shauny has to have a good end to the season! and what better motivation does somebody need than a place in the team with the greatest potential in the world and the England no.7 shirt in the World Cup! *Shaun if by any chance you're reading this - get working hard on the pitch and play like you were 21 again! you were the best young midfielder around at one point, be one of the best wingers in the league now, you can do it!!*

I know we've got a player called Bridge who earns 80k a week. Thats if you don't read the red tops.

his present contract is only worth 15 millions pounds, he earnt approxiamately 7.5 million at chelsea, and no doubt a couple of million or so before that with city.

he will only have taken home about 15 million pounds before the age of 30, before any bank interest.

bless him, how will he cope, it must be a woman to only have about 20 grand a week to spend every week of his life until he dies if he retires at the end of this contract.

not bad for a good game every now and then.

i say increase the season ticket prices, afterall us mere mortals who net about 300 quid a week before mortgage and bills and kids can afford it, we can miss having tea a couple of nights a week to ensure swp doesnt starve.

Not Cook's biggest fan and like SWP, however the club obviously have a valuation of his worth over the coming years, not what's gone before and tbh I think Shauny will feature less and less as we get more successful.

i wouldn't worry to much anyway, marwood could be gone in the summer and cook will definitely be chopped.

wot does"mugged him off" mean.if his step father believes that an offence has taken place surely he should report it to the appropriate authorities immediately.I am sickened by manchester city,s continued efforts to ruin football in this country
