You can only feel for Shaun.

Talk about an embarrassing dad, I'm sure we've all seen the type on the park on a Sunday watching his lad play for the under 9's, screaming bloody murder at the ref and the other kids whilst bigging up his son who will eventually be rejected by pro clubs on his 13th birthday and deal with the parental pressure in the form of a crack pipe, a hooker and a broken pint glass.

Ian Wright is a fucking nob, he's clueless, he's a fucking little parasite who will dance to any tune you play should you throw him some coin, fuck him, fuck Arsenal, fuck his gold tooth and fuck Mark Bright.

three years left on £60k a week, yet spits his dummy because the money came in just after his arrival.

Here's a plan, Shauny, pull your finger out, stop looking like a little boy lost, every time you do on the rare occasion, try to take the man on.

This should prove to a lot of his supporters that whatever they say about Shauny being City through and through, it's all about the greenbacks, even for him.

If he can somehow justify between now and the end of the season that he is worth a raise, keep your dad's mouth shut.

The facts are, at his age, the way he tries to play the game, the three years left on his exixting contract is more than sufficient.

There's always Spurs, eh!

He'll be complaining to Mancini next that he hasnt had as much time on the pitch as that number 4 and hes been here longer than him and that number 4 missed training on Thursday and you still played him but made shaun sub and he was at training so whats the point of coming to training and paying subs every week if hes not going to play!

Im glad he is actually pissed off in a way. THis means that shaun knows he has to up his game to get the payrise, because at the moment, he frustrated the fuck out of me watching his. He isnt a patch on the shaun of 5 years ago before he went to chelsea, he used to take men on all the time, always get a decent cross in and score a lot aswell. He very rarely does any of these now

To be fair though, we were a bit of a one man team back then, anything we did had to come through SWP or it didn't happen at all. Thankfully, we now have several other players who can win games, create chances and score goals so the onus isn't on Shaun quite so much.

I think he's been pretty good since he came back to us and I still think he has a role to play this season and our quest for 4th place.

I can see two sides to this.

He signed a 5 year deal on terms he was happy with so that should be that.

But by the same token he obviously wants parity with his team-mates.

I'm sure Marwood and Cook aren't given an open chequebook and are under instruction to manage the wage bill to at least some degree.

I don't want to lose Shaun so I'd hope a deal could be done.

I wonder if he's angling for a move here? Probably not. It probably illustrates his frustration that he's not in that strong a bargaining position. Could he get more elsewhere? Not sure in the current market.

would this be the same ian wright who pushed swp to move to chelsea to improve his career prospects then moaned when he travelled to moscow for the champions league final only to find his lad wearing a suit?
