Anyone ever been?

I want to go at some point in my life for the experience but not a massive fan of the music, especially for a long period of time. However everyone seems to be absolutely buzzing for hours, do people just genuinely adore the music or is there a heavy load of drugs/pills you can get your hands on, seems like the only explanation to me??

There is a good choice of genres nowadays, Not just dance and trance.

get your own tested and bring them , load of shite over there . A week is enough as its samey . Lots of indie music over there as well its very BBC and bland last couple of years we got a villa the other year and had a party with likeminded people . When I went years ago it was just getting a bit commercial ,lots of snide gear being sold but proper party people looking out for each other . Last time it was overcrowded clubs , pissed up clowns and plastic people . Good and better vibes in bars and clubs where the crowd was lots of older chilled out people the younger bars and clubs reminded me of any other place I have been that had a bar street .
 
Love the place, been the last 2 years, but probably for very different reasons (not the extortionate clubs/pills)

Cafe Mambo at Sunset fantastic.
 
Brilliant place , prob about ten years since I last went and ill be lookin at goin again at some point . Iv been twice. The first time was for one week and the second time was for two weeks. I'd recommend you to go for two weeks . One week isn't long enough and you'll end up gettin on it every night and comin back paler than when you left . With two weeks you can chop it about a bit with some chilled nights mixed with clubbing nights . Also gives you options to go to different nights if they clash with each other .

When I went, the bars were pretty cheap but the clubs were really expensive for entry and drinks . Pretty sure it was about 30-50 euros to get into some and about 5 euros for a bottle of beer . Was ten years ago so they might not be to accurate .
 
I visited Ibiza for three weeks 20 years ago , and i was openly offered drugs in a club even then ....... i went to Playa den Bossa , San Antonio and Ibiza Town , where you'll see some of the wierdest lookin' people you'll ever see!

it's a 'happening' place , and has been for a long time ......

is Space nightclub still open ??? what a fuckin' place that was/is !

Went last year and it was brilliant. Magaluf, Zante malia and the likes don't come close. I went to a festival last year, Ibiza 123. It had the potential to be brilliant if it had advertised a bit better. It's returning next year so hopefully it will attract more people, it was decent last year even though there was a only few thousand that went. Off again this year and I can't wait for my first visit to space. Ocean beach bar looks good too.
 
Best place on earth for a lads holiday, been 5 times and each time it gets better. Get yourself on Bora Bora beach then to Space you will not be disappointed!

Loads of different genres of music now, do not stay at Ibiza rocks though!!!
 
Probably one of the best weeks of my life. Didn't stop drinking from the airport all the way to the trip home. Amazing weather, amazing music and as many easy girls as you can handle.
 
Just got back last week - go every year - never tire of the magical isle

If you stay in San Antonio and want to chill and watch the sunset you can't go far wrong with this place - started off as a hippy bar years ago - now far more polished but still retains it's bohemian roots

Best club there imo . Carl cox done every Thursday there went i went . Pretty sure he still does a night there . I'm more into my techno than trance and I think Richie hawtin does a weekly there. Just booked two weeks in cuba so goin back this year is lookin incredibly slim .

Went to Ocean beach a couple of times when we were there last year. Awesome place but not cheap unless you go with about 10 mates and share the price of sunloungers etc
