Good spot mate.

I too have doubts about PDC's political leanings!

You 2 need a fcuking slap for suggesting such a thing!! I thought he was gash when he come but he's a young kid wit no experience so not his fault, mancini tho is a tool!!

But ffs the op had an opinion, are some of you really from manchester? you'd get smashed to fcuk sayiing things like that in pub.

Id get smashed up for suggesting someone was a racist? Righto.

sorry, but that statement is pretty pointless, his nationality has noting to do with it so end it there!

the fact is he was brought on for ireland to play as a third defensive midfield player (his position), yet looked lost, didnt close anyone down hard enough and just strolled around waiting for the play to come to him. It was a mind boggling decision by mancini and for me it showed too much naivety from the manager....which is pretty worrying.

a game like today needed experience players who are less likely to make a mistake...not a youngster getting a run out!

the unfortunate thing is it wasn't the young lads fault....it was Mancini's! for everything he's won....he has more eye rasing moments than any other manager, but the sort of decisions which make you lose faith rather than gain hope!

Most sensible post of the thread.I have seen Abdi enough in the academy and reserves to know what his best position. That is central midfield either defending the back 4 or as part of an orthordox 442.What Mancini was thinking about I honestly have no idea.Is he trying to destroy the kid playing him out of position?

It seems to me that Mancini doesn't think very agressively most of the time.If he was simply looking to shore up the midfield I actually think the experience of Silvinho would have fitted the bill best. But the aggressive play was to go for RSC and go for the winner.I just don't think Mancini thinks like that. Putting Ibra on was a bit pointless for me and a little tough on the lad.

Problem with that is: RSC was carrying a knock as mentioned by Mancini in his post match interview on mcfc site and I reckon he thought the size of Ibrahim was more suited to this particular game for the last 15-20 mins. as opposed to Silvinho.

Der yes I know he preferred Ibra to Silv but my point was imo I think he was wrong. As for RSC he should not have been on the bench if he couldnt manage 10 minutes at the end. Fact is I am sure he would have managed but the reality is the boss didn't want to go for it , better keep what we have.
