Ibrahimovic

I don't expect this to haunt me so here goes: Ibra is a lazy ****. He moves to the top teams on the continent who are already established in their own league.

ajax
Inter
juventus
barca
milan

From that list of teams, i'm not surprised he won a few titles! Imagine him at carrow rd on a freezing december tuesday night, or loftus rd in february!

You're right, if Ibrahimovic had anything about him he would've signed for Norwich years ago.

I guess that is the end of my ITK status...fun while it lasted. the double meaning on 1936 was a thing of beauty Bombo. Keep them coming.

I remember Ibrah for Inter when they won. All they did every game was punt the ball up to Ibrah and with his height and control he would always bring it down from anywhere. Then they started their attack. He is a target man with the touch of an Iniesta and the finishing of an Eto'o all wrapped into one. Massive player!

And the laziness of who?

you obviously didnt go to Turin in the europa, it was fucking freezing and it was just as cold in Milan

Just cant see him doing it in the prem, too slow, too old. Like I said would end up being our Crespo / Sheva signing.

Plus hes getting on now. If we are going to sign an older player much rather have Drogba personally cost half as much and is proven quality in the prem.

No, not the temperature, the 100 mile an hour football that he's not ever played before. That's the difference.

apologies, here's me thinking that Norwich dont play proper football and QPR are a typical English up and at em team of cloggers

Barca want an answer from Milan sooner rather than later. The games afoot a cheap off load of adebayor to Milan may be the price of Mancini getting his favourite player at the third attempt. Mata bid been rejected more cash expected to be offered. Boateng is still on his way out. I expect Gilkes to sign as back up keeper shortly after given leaves for Celtic or Villa. Baines from Everton enquiry has been made.

-- Fri Jun 10, 2011 12:37 am --

Boateng to bayern Munich looks very likely now they have cleared the decks for him and expect him to sign shame really

Bayern got rid of centre halfs as boateng agreed to go to them at the end of the season he will force the issue with transfer request if negotiations go stale over the price.

I'm really curious about this: Anyone got the stats as to how well Ibra did when Mancini was around to coach him?

This guy is too old and too slow. I fully expect a sheva / crespo level of flop if we sign him.

Its frustrating if you look at players like agero potentially available if we end up going for him.

Virtually certain to fail in the prem IMO he's 30 this October. Appearances and goals over the last 2 seasons have been poor given the sides he played in.

Alera, not being funny but you cannot compare Ibra and Aguero, 2 totally different types of players who bring different qualities to their side.

Personally I wouldnt breing Ibra in as I think we need to give Balo and Dzeko more games however if he was signed I think you would see the reasons why and he would be a good addition.

He's 30 this October !

At just about every level you look at he would be a terrible signing too old too likely to fail moving to the prem at his sort of age as with sheva and crespo.

Too slow his style of play doesn't suit our league. He has come out and said he doesn't want to play in England . Put what spin on it you want I don't know any city fan personally that would be happy signing him. Have we learned nothing from the many failures we have had signing forwards in recent years ?
