obv with Ntini doing it on his own, there will be of course limitations on how much one man can do, if you want too do a domestic 20.20 one i dont mind helping NT,

maximum players from 1 side is 1 or 2
5 batsmen, 4 bowlers, 1 keeper and an all rounder

obvs this is a while off, but keep it in mind, and the unselfishness shown by you towards this comp is appreciated.

i was thinking of doing one starting at the domestic season, a bit differently to this one, but wasn't sure if it would be popular enough for here.

Ntini does a stirling job so i wouldnt want to start one, but maybe if 1 or 2 helped him add up the player totals etc.

You could still pick 10 all rounders though.

maximum 2 all rounders then :P.

i had a list of criteria for one I was going to do on my laptop but it broke :(.

How do you decide who is an all rounder, who is a batsman that can bowl and who is a bowler that can at a bit?
And how can you restrict the number of spinners in a side when we have seen a team in this world cup go into a game with only one front line pace - seam bowler?
Then there is the case of wicket keepers, gary Wilson is a wicket keeper for Ireland, but was played yesterday as a batsman with N OBrien wearing the gloves!
The rules were there for all to see before the competition started and it was up to the individual what 11 players they wished to select to gain them the most points.
It is a bit of craic and a great way to enhance our enjoyment of a great competition and give us an interest in games we might not otherwise have enjoyed as much so thanks again Ntini. Now I just need porterfield and Kallis to start contributing more with the bat.

anyone interested in signing up to a league for the county cricket season which includes international games till the end of the year and would start post world cup?

-- Thu Mar 03, 2011 6:17 pm --

its pretty easy tbf,

before the start of tournaments, i.e. IPL tournament host establishes who is who from a list, then if that is the case, nothing can be done about it.

I need a couple of high scores with the Law man closing the gap a bit I need a few players to step up to the mark maybe a 100 from Gayle tomorrow will sort me out.
Its best not to put too much emphasis on the tabe at this stage as one player has 7 of his side already completing matchday 3 while another has still to have one player complete his third game, but interesting to see on BBC1NI that a GAA star is teaching the pupils in a South Armagh School cricket.
Great news for all us cricket lovers from Donemana to Cork County.
