no hang on, why can you substitute departing players? if the team doesn't qualify tough shit, you shouldn't just be able to come along and pick the most in form players left because your current players team got knocked out.

It's only three subs. I didn't think it was a big deal.
You have to be tactical in your thinking as you could select a player that only plays once or possibly three times. So picking the outstanding player (Afridi) could bite you in the arse.
