Knew i shouldnt have put ponting in.... Had virat kohli but changed them the day before this started.... Typical the lad scored a century in his first game then lol. How many points would i gain for tait ntini mate?

3 wickets = 75 points
Bonus for 3'fer = 20 points
Economy 5 or below = 15 points
6 wides/no balls = -12 points

98
cheers buddy.... Dont think anyone else picked him, knew he would get me some good points!!! :D

Didn't realise you deducted points for wides. Those that picked Tait and Johnson are in a world of trouble then...

And what's with Razzak batting at ten for Bangladesh? He's easily a 7/8 bat. Very frustrating.

Gutted.
After bowling out B'desh for 205 we should ave won that game, and it is between us, Windies and B'desh to see who goes through from the group, so a win today would have given the blarney army a great start, but some very poor shot selection and some very good fielding meant that it was not to be.

With regards to the idea of Malahides new complex being used for test cricket, sadly i fear that the 5 day game will remain outside the possibilities of the ICU, though with it and Stormont hopefully more ODI's will be played on the emerald isle in coming years, and as more children are getting into the game (as more new clubs are forming even in places like dundalk), the fanbase will continue to grow.

Ah well, roll on wednesday to give the english a very good game, and if they perform like they did against the Dutch, a beating (though I doubt they will be as bad again).

I watched a bit of this game today. Why was the big Ginger lad not wearing a helmet when he was batting? Also I lost out on the bet thought I had a decent chance as well but the bookies never get many things wrong. What that team could do with Eoin Morgan in it they are just short a good batter and bowler to make them a decent side.

Just been watching Sky's highlights and they said Bollinger and Dwayne Bravo are out of the WC.

I'm gutted about the last few days - Ponting doesn't seem to be firing at all while Smith, Tendulkar and Kallis have not helped.

Hopefully they will come good in the next round of games.

What do you mean "a bit of this game"
Big Ginger Irish lads are used getting hit from an early age by hurley sticks etc so a cricket ball wouldnt harm them (I think it was kevin O'B you are referring to, but could be wrong, I normally am).
But when batting it is a lot easier to bat with either acap or nothing on your head, though when faced by fast bowling it is better to make sure that you have a helmet on (i should know, as I took a beemer full on the jaw the season before last from a fast bowler, likened by the consultant in the Ulster hospital Dundonald to like being hit full in the face by a plastic bullet).
Still, that was the end of june and revenge was sweet when i hooked him into the trees in the first saturday in september.

Oh, and how many times have you voted so far? lol

Your the boss, Ntini. Whatever you decide is fine by me because it will be the same rule for everyone.

Okay, thanks.

Anyone that loses a player through injury during the first 3 group matches is allowed to change him for someone else.

I'll start by getting rid of Bravo (out of the tournament) & will bring in Hafeez.
