Icelandic Volcano Part 4

I slept through an earthquake in southern Hungary. The house and bed were moving. Didn’t feel a thing. :-)

What a coincidence. I was in bed hungry for a southern fried chicken house special. Also I felt a thing quaking.
 
The wife rang the Travel Dept. to see what they say.
Flights still going out in two days.
They’ll let us know after that.
Obviously won’t put customers at risk etc etc.
 
Alot of work was done by airlines and engine manufacturers after the 2010 airspace closure. Back then it was a case that extreme caution was shown, even when minimal ash was in the air. Detection of ash and methods to mitigate risk are considerably better now than back then. Whatever happens, I wouldn't expect the impact to be as widespread as it was in 2010-fingers xxxxxxxxed!!
