Iconic City games for every scoreline

4-3 spurs away in fa cup. 3-0 down, 10 men at half time. Win in normal time. Just the most insane, scarcely believable, inconceivable second half comeback I think I've ever seen.

0-0 could cover the first leg. Jon Macken missed a great chance to win the tie in the first leg. Ended up scoring the winner in the replay!

For 0-0 I would suggest City v QPR 1976. Joe Corrigan and Phil Parkes both gave brilliant performances in their respective goals. I can remember leaving knowing I had watched great performances.

The sleeve of the Genesis single "Match of the Day / Pigeons" features a photo of Masson missing his pen in this match.

0-1 loss
Early 2000's against the Boro.

Boro ðidnt have a shot on target (and their first shot all game i think was in injury time)
Sun Jihai own goal sealed it.

Trevor Francis debut at Stoke for 3-1

Colin Bell comeback v Newcastle for 4-0

Yes. I’m old.
Dya remember the batterings we got off WBA 9-2 and Leicester 8-4. I seem to recall they were within weeks of each other. I shall investigate.

Invesitgation complete: WBA Sept 57 and Leicester Feb 58. Must have carried the 9-2 around with me and stuck it on the 8-4 with only a breath of air between 'em.
