Iconic lines in movies

Big, big myth...he did ad-lib in a few scenes, you can see the wry smiles from the other cast members but most of what you see in the film is script. I have a copy of it.
The script could be written afterwards.
 
You know when the classic film "Gone with the Wind" came out in 1939 there was an almighty stink when Rhett Butler told Scarlett O'Hara (Clark Gable and Vivian Leigh) "Frankly my dear I don't give a damn!" Just wonder what that audience would have made of today's foul mouthed language in mainstream films (the C, F and M/F words and worse.)
