Kompany is employed by Manchester City FC and, as such, has his hands completely tied behind his back with regards to what he can and cannot say.
Therefore I'd prefer to listen to every last person on here first because their opinion is their own.
Kompany might hate Mancini but he gets paid a damned good wage to keep a diplomatic silence and go along with club policy. He isn't going to rock the boat is he?
While there could be some truth in what you are saying. . . do you really reckon Kompany hates Mancini?
Kompany is an incredibly intelligent, eloquent, and all together nice bloke. He has been in Dzeko's position before and knows how difficult it is to step up from the Bundesliga to the Premier League. The amount of time you have on the ball rapidly decreases between these two leagues.
Kompany was never a world beater when he came here as his position was rotated and changed in his first few months, but after one pre-season Kompany was a totally different player. Kompany settled in England, and he's been brilliant ever since.
I have a feeling that the same with happen with Dzeko. Even though I think he's completely rubbish at the moment. But a goal in the Premier League may do him a world of good. We've seen what he can do in a league he's used to.
Whether Kompany believes in what he has said here or not, it will give Dzeko some confidence ahead of a strong run in. How do you know Dzeko won't tap in a top-4 claiming shot from under the bar? It's impossible to miss, and doesn't take much skill to do it, but that goal that Dzeko could potentially score, would be the most important and memorable goal in our recent history.
Crouch scored 8 league goals last season, and has only scored 10 league goals in his entire time at Spurs, yet he was the player that fired them into the Champions League.
