Go to your start menu and dont use the 64 bit version just use the 32 bit one and it should work ok.

Start menu >programs

There should be two instances of internet explorer in there somewhere. Dont use the 64 bit version.

Only appears to be one ?
Time to try FF or maybe give Chrome another chance.
