If Aguero is unavailable, who should start against Juventus?

Well explained Corky, just to add:

CL squad is 25 players, 17 foreign plus 8 home grown. A minimum of 2 of the squad must be goalkeepers
Of the 8 HG you can have as many as you want club trained but max of 4 from other clubs from the same association.

We have a CL squad of 21, 17 foreigners plus Hart, Sterling, Delph and Clichy HG.

Iheanacho, Patrick Roberts and Alix Garcia miss out from the 17.

I don't think hart quite qualifies as club trained, so we can't have Wright on the list as home grown as the 4 association player places are taken.

So at the moment we have no club trained players over 21 now that Micah Richards has left

But we can't play the youth mate, it's too much of a risk. Like when we had that absolutely nothing game at the end of last season that had no bearing on anything, that was far too much of a risk because we needed to end the season strongly or something. And people don't want to pay their hard earned to watch a bunch of skinny kids running around, it's an entertainment product at the end of the day. And every game is a six pointer now and bringing kids on means we'll probably get beat.

We'll just start with 4 players less than every other club in the Champions League, no big deal.

What are you both on about, I'm talking about the CL "A" list.

The 3 players mentioned were all out on loan and therefore could not be on the list. I merely used Richards (who was also out on loan) as an example of a club trained player who qualified as such.

Dedryck Boyata qualified as a club trained player last season and we made the wise move of not sending him out on loan because of this and because of the player restrictions put upon us.

I am in no way suggesting that we play lads on the b list, I only pointed out 4 players that cannot play in the CL because they are not in the a list and don't meet b list criteria.

'Both'? Excuse me but I am trying to be helpful by supplementing your information! Certainly not disagreeing with you about anything.

Probably just being pessimistic but I don't think it will just be a knock.

I'm sure he's said before an injury wasn't serious yet he missed a month.

Hopefully wrong!
