If Aguero is unavailable, who should start against Juventus?

Fernandinho would be the biggest loss. No adequate replacement for him in the squad, especially with no Delph. The way he sprinted to celebrate the winner, I doubt he'll be out.

Well, Aguero's out. Nice work Scott Dann. A mistimed tackle you can accept, but Dann timed his tackle to perfection, the ball had long gone, but that didn't matter, he was never aiming at the ball anyway. His only intent was to hack Aguero down. For me a straight red based solely on the intent. Looks like Bony up front.

Bony up front but the lack of a back up from the bench means he has to play the full 90, so don't expect a high press, we'll need to conserve Bony's energy.

It's not about intent. You can intend to kick the ball but boot someone in the head by total accident and it be a red card for being dangerous. It's about putting your apponent in danger. And Scott Dann did.

Actually intent does come into it. Remember the Kompany red card against United? Never made any contact with man or ball, yet was red carded for the "intent" shown. He certainly didn't put the opponent (Nani) in any danger.

The fact that Shearer was happy for that to happen & it not be a red card offence, thouroughly pisses me off.

Spot on about Shearer....almost condoning that terrible Dann tackle on MOTD.
Not worth getting pissed off by anything Shearer says. He's not that old but he is a fucking dinosaur when it comes to opinions on football. Utterly pointless and irrelevant pundit.
