Benjani is nowhere as shit as some make out he is, and is capable of producing a lot more than he has for us, but for me Boj is still the far, far better player....

I know Boj made a couple of starts at centre-forward last year, but that was through necessity, it's not really his thing. boj would be competing with tevez, bellamy, robinho for the second striker slot. benj is currently back up to adebayor, whilst RSC is out.

after his injuries, boji desperately needs first team football. you might forgive him for going a bit sour on English football, he's been injured for the best part of two seasons, then the manager buys 3 more strikers. if he develops into the new rooney over the next year, we can still get him back. chances are that he wouldn't develop at all sat on our bench.

Difference probably was, Boj asked to be loaned out or is at least not content with just sitting on the bench.

I think he is saying we were looking to offload both Boj and Benjani and an acceptable offer came in for Boj so we moved him on. We couldn't say to Parma - take Benjani instead. I assume we are still waiting for an offer for Benjani and he will move before 31st even if its on loan.
