You really did not understand that analogy?

I think he is saying we were looking to offload both Boj and Benjani and an acceptable offer came in for Boj so we moved him on. We couldn't say to Parma - take Benjani instead. I assume we are still waiting for an offer for Benjani and he will move before 31st even if its on loan.

imho i dont think any team wants to take a risk with him unless totally desperate at the last few minutes of the window closing!

then you'd have to question why it was Bojinov we got rid of (temporarily) and not him, no?

Benjani is nowhere as shit as some make out he is, and is capable of producing a lot more than he has for us, but for me Boj is still the far, far better player....

because boj has ambition and wants 1st team football.....benji happy to sit on the bench-especially now fellow african ade,s arrived......

We've got to get rid of him. There will be one or two clbs come in for him right near the death of the transfer window with a bit of luck

He's evidently available and it is just a case of the right offer coming in. Or any offer. No rush for him to leave as he does have qualities we would appreciate if RSC and Ade both get injured. I would have thought Pomepy would have been back for him by now as it would be a deal though would cost them virtually nothing if we wrote of the remaining future fees, and Benjani would probably love to go back.

i don't think anyone would 'love' to go to pompey! :P lol

....... I will be quite happy if he is that he stays.........

for a few minutes on Thursday it looked like we might need him with Adebayour and Bellamy in doubt and Tevez not fit. If he is not happy to stay then we can get rid as we don't want turmoil but we need a few decent prem players who can come in if we get a bad run of injuries and suspensions.

benjani is under rated he is a decent prem player who can do a job and if he is happy as a squad, sometime bench and very rarely first team player then until we have a kid or two who are ready for prem football he is worth keeping.

We can't sell him, we have a derby at the swamp coming up, Benjani is going to come off the bench and score the winner.
Either him or Sinclair.

We could also loan Vassell "our Hero" back for the one game as sub !

Benjani has problems recovering from a ruptured thigh muscle. City received an offer for Bojinov. You can't transfer a player if there are no bids, and Bojinov possibly wanted to return to Italy so what do you do when a bid comes in for him, and you can't offer him 1st team football?

Hmmmmmmmmm - why does that sound disturbingly familiar!

lets not forget Benji is a good friend of Ade's so Hughes probably wants him around to help Ade settle in.
