If Bobby Manc was still at Inter or something...

i think that mancini was the best choice
hughes made a lot of mistakes and we had 6-7 draws
if sheikh mansour had sacked him in the summer and brought in mancini we could have had 2 PLs now.. it was a huge mistake to give him a time and money
and can't understand why sven was fired his style is something like mancini's

mancini was appointed in the summer, he just wasn't allowed to take a post before december. hughes had no chance, had he won every game he was gone. crass city, absolute crass.

I've never heard that one before. Hiddink originally announced he'd been approached after that season had commenced and Hughes went to the Board and asked to be backed or sacked. Personally, I'd have preferred City to fire Hughes for not securing European football in his first season or something similar as opposed to what actually happened. It was so harmful to how others perceived us. Some won't care but I'm proud of my Club and want to remain so.

To answer the OP's question then I'd say Klopp. Dortmund have been the best team to come to City in several seasons (despite our very fortunate draw) and he's done this on reasonably limited resources. However, they're presently 12 points behind Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga so it seems they're not doing it domestically this season. He might have taken them as far as he can.

I was thinking today of who might be my favorite coach apart from Bobby Manc. So then I thought why not post it here.

So if Bobby Manc wasn't at Man City was still at Inter or something, who would you have wanted to manage City ?

Me first, AVB(young, super talented and probably the best eye for talent in Europe) or Klopp(a lot of swagger, great management and most important keeps improving year after year)

What about you guys ?

false

I think Steve Potter could have been the best second alternative.... except that Steve was intending to become a football manager but never did. People who know Steve in this forum know what I mean.
