If: City and Arsenal only need a point each for top 4?

I think I’m right in saying if results go a certain way this weekend we could go in to the Arsenal game with both teams knowing that a draw effectively guarantees both clubs top 4 and champions league football, only a big shift in goal difference could swing it for united.
If that is the case would you be happy to play for a draw?

We would still have a slight advantage on 3rd but we would be guaranteed no lower than 4th! There would be one more game to sort out the 3rd/4th place order so it is not a white flag by any stretch.

I think we might actually have an outside shot of 2nd so I'd want the win.

Spurs have to play Chelsea (away), Southampton and Newcastle (a).

Without Alli, with Leicester officially winning the league, I could see them only getting 4 points from the last 3 games. Chelsea could definitely win, and Newcastle fighting for survival on the last day, in their good home form? definitely loseable.

Going completely against my comments on what Hazard, Pulis and Fabregas said about wanting certain teams to win over others, and assuming we wont catch Spurs...If we were 1-0 up in the 90th minute, i'd want Vinny to turn and thump the ball in to the top corner of our own net...


But of course, top 3 is more important, don't have to play a qualifier so i'd rather secure that, over worrying about others. Always important to finish as high as possible you never know what might happen in the future, i.e. drugs or corruption.
