full marks to everton i say, the board are backing their manager, the manager says he stays and well done for sticking to his words, over the years we've been manhandled by "bigger" clubs into selling our crown jewels, i wish we could have stood our ground at those times.
i still think he'll come but fair do's to moyes for putting up such a fight.

What makes you think he will still come ?

Funny you should say that.

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/golf/article-1205668/EXCLUSIVE-Manchester-City-boss-Mark-Hughes-closes-20m-deal-Joleon-Lescott.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/golf/a ... scott.html</a>

If we do get him and it's for that price, Moyes will look like an absolute tool.

He really will look an idiot if it happens now after all the crap he has come out with, not for sale at any price even £30 million, wont sell any players guranteed, we have be unprofessional etc etc etc.

Looks like West Ham were quoting £10 million for Upson then we came in and they wanted £15 million. They can fuck right off. £10 million is about right.

Maybe, but how many times can Moyes tell City to do one?

He's done it privately, and then City try to conduct the transfer through the media, so he has every right to have a go at your set-up.

All i'm seeing in this forum is people having a go at Everton for refusing to sell them a player, and City saying that they should tell Everton to clear off and just buy Upson instead. Excuse me, but isn't it City camped outside Everton throwing all kinds of money and not taking no for an answer? I'd love you to buy Upson so we can forget about this, and of course, Upson is crap.

You can have all the money you want, but Hughes & Cook makes you look small-time with the way they do business.

Lads.

The Sun? The Daily Mail?

They've been peddling these stories all summer and have yet to get any of them right. You keep buying their papers and they keep printing this shite.

Besides. Dunne is a better center back than Upson surely.
