If last night wasn’t bad enough…

After the last few results, things haven’t been looking great for us blues.
But I got an email last night to say that my seasoncard number had won a competition to have a virtual meet and greet with a mystery men’s first team player…

I am a school teacher so thought it would be great to put it on the big screen in the classroom.

Kids were speculating who it could be, could it be Haaland, could it be Foden, maybe De Bruyne, maybe Grealish.

Was meant to start at 11:30.
The player didn’t come on until 12:30!
They had questions ready to ask, I told them not to get their hopes up as it could be any first team player…

It was… Scott Carson.


Safe to say, the kids weren’t to impressed.

Anyway, on to Anfield

Well he has to do something to warrant his wages other than warming the bench
