Capello, or Lippi. With Capello i'd offer the chance to combine both roles until he takes over us permanently after the world cup. If not them Hiddink or Jose any day.
 
Well, if Hughes does go (and I don't think he should), then the experiment of unproven managers is over and we should go for someone who has really achieved.

Hughes achieved respectable league finishes with Blackburn and did alright with Wales.
Hodgson's greatest achievement outside of winning lower leagues, is a UEFA Cup finalist with Inter.

Hitzfeld is managing Switzerland at the moment, has consistently won the Bundesliga (which is quite similar style to the Prem) and has won the Champions League a couple of times.

If we could tempt Del Bosque away from Spain after the World Cup, he'd be ideal.
 
Oh and Del Bosque has already been there and done it with large sums of money, at Real Madrid.
