Hard not to agree with this really. I'd be very happy if it was either us, L'pool or Chelsea for the next 5 years.

Be easier if Chelsea won it, as they've won it previously in recent times...

However, as much as I hate the Scouser's - they are just another version of the scum with a glory hunting fanbase, something in me feels that Gerrard deserves to win it but I realise this won't be a popular view on here!

What exactly about him make you think he "deserves to win it"?

Would that be his Rooney-esq abusing of referees, week-in, week-out? Or perhaps his beating up some poor sod in a nightclub and then being let off because he's the England captain you know and we can't have that can we. Or maybe the continual kicking, elbowing and diving? Or the lovely accent perhaps?

If Gerrard deserves a premier league medal for his loyalty to Liverpool then Matthew Le Tissier deserves the fucking World Cup. Easy stopping at Liverpool a team that will in theory be challenging for trophies each year than Southampton were Le Tiss sometimes single-handedly kept his time in the PL.

Up until a few weeks ago,I thought if we don't win then I'd preferred the dippers to win it.

Basically its a choice of being burned alive or shot in the face.

Probably go with Liverpool tbh, you have to admire how they've built a squad to challenge with a much smaller budget, given English players and youth a chance while playing the most exciting football in the league. Plus it would be worrying to see Chelsea win the league without top striker and play so average yet still win it.

Purely from a footballing perspective, in my opinion hes the best English player since Gascoigne. As i said it won't be a popular view, but he is a talented footballer that i enjoy watching play the game.
