What makes me laugh is when someone posts that we're interested in Player X and have made inquiries. It then is announced on SSN that we have in fact made a bid for Player X but ultimately Player X doesn't end up coming to us. Then people say, "see these guys are KFA!" Just because we're reported to be interested in someone doesn't mean the deal is done! Can everyone understand that?
I don't care who it is who prints the transfer info, I'm fairly certain these "ITKs" (for want of a better phrase) have absolutely no say in wether we ultimately get the player we're interested in. That comes down to the two clubs, the player and the player's agent not the guy with the info. They're not miracle workers, just guys who claim to have some info. If you don't believe it, jog on. You won't be missed. I myself believe nothing till it's on the OS, but I like rumour and discussing the relative merits of players we may, or may not, be interested in.
