If Tevez gets brought on against Chelsea on Wednesday...

i think some people on here are not aware that the vast majority of city fans who attend matches do not ever come on bluemoon. and i expect he will be cheered if he comes on without a doubt.

What do you think Tevez will do as he warms up with team, should he acknowledge the fans or just put his head down?
The idea that any sort of knobhead would start booing a substitute warming up on the sidelines while the rest of the lads are trying to win an incredibly important football match is about as far beyond my comprehension as it is possible to get.

This would be the thought process of every City player on the pitch when they hear some booing:

"What they booing for?"
*look over and see Tevez warming up*
"FFS what a bunch of pricks. Why can't they just get behind the team FFS?"

Tevez is a wanker, there really is little argument about that. He has zero morals and doesn't deserve anyone's respect, but the rest of the players do. So forget about the one-man circus and get on with the job we're supposed to actually do.

Tevez will be greated with silence as far as I'm concerned. No booing, but no clapping or cheering either. If he happens to score a goal, especially a vital goal then I'll celebrate. However I'm celebrating a City goal not a Tevez one.

That's the attitude I have. But I must admit it would sound rather good if when his name was announced there was a resounding Mancini chant lol.

Yeh I'll go for that, can still see plenty of people booing though.

The Chelsea fans will probably boo and the TV commentators will try and say it was City fans anyway.

All I wish for is for no booing, it doesn't help the club or the players.

Yes, it may help some people get rid of some frustration towards him but cheering him also makes us look two faced.

Best case scenario is no response at all, come out with the team at half time depending on results.

Whatever happens im sure the reaction will be scrutinised by the press and other fans. End of the day though we shouldn't give a damn what they think and get on with our job of claiming the three points and getting back on top!
