I admire your confidence. But for me this is a mental thing as much as physical. And not just the players. Other teams have copied and adapted the way we play and so far we are just rinsing and repeating a style that has served us well but is probably past its sell by date.
The purchases of Haaland, Doku, Savinho hinted that Pep and Txiki knew this.

If the last 10 games had all been premier league games, we would have accumulated 0.5 points per game

If that continued until the end of the season we'd finish on 39 points and at serious risk of being relegated
 
If we kept losing we'd be relegated, we'd lose a load of new more entitled fans (no problem) and then we'd enjoy a season or 2 in the Championship. I loved those days.

Won't happen though. We're missing crucial defenders and midfielders. Get them back and we'll pick up results. I think finishing in the top 4 and trying to win a cup will be our new target though. The only thing that concerns me is how many injuries we seem to be picking up this season. Seems a lot!

Let's be honest that's 5 of our strongest line-up currently.
It's just a shit season, and how we react in Jan and the summer will be critical.
I do think Pep needs to come up with something different now, and indeed should have been trying something 5/6 games back, as once Rodders was ruled out we simply seem to have lost the ability to keep a clean sheet with the system we play

Yes but Stone, Ake, Akanji and Kovacic are the most important players (other than Rodri). Literally the ones who will make us more solid.

Yes, it might "only" be those players who are injured, but that in turn is having a knock on effect on the ageing players who aren't. Gundogan is playing too many games, Bernardo Silva is playing too many games, Walker is playing too many games etc etc. The consequence of the injuries is an over reliance on some players who could really go a rest/rotation.

It'll get better, but it might get a bit worse first.

It's football, we've had it so good. It'd be amazing if it could be that way every season but it's just not possible - shit happens, but trust Pep and those in charge to deal with it.
