If the rot continues what happens ?

Sit back and relax blues. We’ve had it good for 12 years. We haven’t failed to qualify for the champions league for 13 seasons. We’re having a shit season, we aren’t immune to it. One thing it will do is make us more hungry for success, as I’ve felt since the treble winning season we’ve started to expect success.

You really are the most deluded person I've ever known. Unbelievable.

Open your eyes and stop living in the past. Without Haaland's goals, this would be a relegation season.
Ridiculous. The same applies to last year and the year before that. We have Haaland's goals, you can't remove them.

A lot are saying that we played shit and well yeah but United were also shit so how did they win and we lose?

We desperately need a win and it doesn't matter how we do it or how we play at the moment. We can play shite but it's criminal to not see the game out when 1-0 up against a United team who were as bad as us.

A few years ago Chelsea won the league under Mourinho and had an absolute stinker of a follow up season with them being near the bottom end of the table.
That is basically what’s happening to us, we have hit heights that no one ever imagined and now this is the comedown. We will hang in there until the end of the season but make no mistake, we will miss out on a top 4 spot and be out of the champions league come the new year. This summer will be the most important in years as we essentially need a new squad.
Will pep be here to rebuild mate ?

Only regret from this period is we haven't made a bigger impact on the CL since 2017 (and we still managed to win 1). Otherwise, we've done it all and exceeded most of our wildest expectations.

There was always going to be a drop eventually.
We need a complete midfield rebuild now plus a couple of other positions. Biggest things now for this season are the verdict on our financial charges and whether we can salvage top 4.

As I've said in the match thread, it's all very well talking about a complete rebuild in the coming transfer windows but can we really trust the current managerial regime given how utterly abysmal their transfer dealings have been (with both incoming and outgoing players) in the last couple of years?

It's not a 'rot' for me. It's typical City. Like I said... been there, got the t-shirts.

Football us cyclical. We're just turning into another shit City team because of poor management.
Indeed. The cycle for a lot of this team might be over but we’ll bounce back.

Up the Blues!
