I thought we looked shite even when we were winning earlier in the season, then when Rodri went down, I fucking knew we were in the shit. Said to my mate on the way home after the horrible Southampton shit show that 8th might be a stretch. Apparently, it really is.

Steady the ship once a few players come back and go again next year after a few new signings, can't win it all every season

Missing Rodri has nothing to do with conceding all those goals, not only yesterday but the whole season. Pep created this team that's been progressively becoming more and more one-dimensional in the attack and an abject positional game in defence. Plus he ended up with every single player out of form.
