If the sun is out, what's your favourite time of the year in the UK?

Late spring is nice because all the garden is alive with all hands on deck to push veg and flowering of themselves. The first bee i see sniffing around for some grub makes me smile, he is my indicator it is time to get planting sharpish if i want to see any crop on my veg patch at all.

I prefer winter if I am honest. Cosy nights, cheese on toast suppers, rain and football.

Can't beat it.

To me the summer is just waiting for the football season.

The late 17th century.

(No, YOU'VE just shamelessly stolen a Steve Wright joke)
