Interesting thread. If you're gonna distill it down to get a really tight album then you cant have more than ten tracks. I'd go:

Ringo, that's pretty good. Never really liked Helter Skelter that much as I think the lyrics are a bit naff (typical Macca). Swap it for for a tasty Savoy Truffle and you're in business.

As it goes Revolver, Abbey Road and Rubber Soul all beat that ^^^^^^ IMO

Personally I disagree (white album is one of my favourite albums) but all the ones you mention are top quality Andy so it doesnt really matter!

10 songs is too small. Iirc a few beatles albums have 14, and abbey road has more. It would make an interesting argument to cut it down to 10 songs though! From now on your only allowed 10 songs only!

I actually like helter skelter btw, it's brilliant to have a tune like that which is almost punk, and then honey pie a few songs later, sums up how much the beatles covered to have those songs just a few tracks apart.

They are the fucking business!
