If the worst happens who will you blame?

I regularly talk to my cat about football......

It sits there listning to me till i have finished, could be 2 mins, could be 10
Then only when im done does he wander off....

My Mrs says im weird.....

Me and Hank know the score though......

Will it be Hughes' fault for drawing the 7 games between October 5-November 28 & loosing 14 potential points?

Yes

Will people point to Hughes' signings & say they were not good enough or to injury prone or some players not responding to Hughes & his back up staff?

Yes

Could fans point to changing managers, mid-term thus creating instability & uncertainty.

Not changing manager in the summer was the problem

Bobby Mancs training methods or his tactics in some games playing too defensively & not posing enough threat i.e. Vs Arsenal & United?.

Yes

If we don't make it there are a lot of people and things that are gonna have to share a bit of the blame

You can't pin point certain games, but the 7 draws on the bounce were appauling, 4 of them against teams we should beat.

if we would of just won 2 of them 7 we wouldn't be worrying about anything now, a point in these last 3 games would of probably sealed it.
I agree with what you say and we can moan about certain results in the season but its the same for everyone, Spuds have lost to Stoke and Wolves at home this season so they could feasibly be out of sight by now. No individual is to blame, there is no such thing as a false league position, if we are good enough we'll get fourth in not we won't. I must admit to being a bit miffed about the tactics we have played vrs the rags and the arse, we got 1 point when we could have easily got 3,4 or 6 if we had just gone for it, both games were winable and loseable but sometimes you have to grab the bull by the horns and be a little bit brave!

i will congratulate everybody involved in getting us 5th/6th & hope we can do better next season

COME ON CITY-48 years & i,m still here (maybe sat in a different seat though)

Just wandering if god forbid we DON'T manage to get 4th (I think we will) where the blame will lie from the fans as to us not quite achieving 4th this season?

Will it be Hughes' fault for drawing the 7 games between October 5-November 28 & loosing 14 potential points? or only gaining 5 points from 12 from Burnley & Hull?

Will people point to Hughes' signings & say they were not good enough or to injury prone or some players not responding to Hughes & his back up staff?

OR

Could fans point to changing managers, mid-term thus creating instability & uncertainty.

Bobby Mancs training methods or his tactics in some games playing too defensively & not posing enough threat i.e. Vs Arsenal & United?.

Or were our aims to high this season anyway?

Why should there be blame attached, if we don't make 4th it will mean that we aren't yet ready.

Hughes - for the home draws (from winning positions) against Fulham , Burnley and Hull

if we'd have just won 2 of those 3 games then we'd now be 3 points ahead of Spurs and Villa
