Then on Monday night we have to put our nerves, insecurities and expectations to one side and focus on getting behind the boys in blue.

I strongly believe that we can do this, that we have the quality to beat the rags, but urge all blues that come Monday night we have to focus all our energies on getting behind the boys.

I have waited all my football supporting life to see City lift the top division title, we are 3 games away from seizing that moment but we as fans have to show the same nerve, bottle and courage that we will be asking of the players. Irrespective of how the match is going we have to put our nerves to one side and focus on backing the players. That is the best way to beat the nerves, believe me.

This is our chance, we as fans have to seize it and not let the players down by letting our own fears and insecurities take over. This is our moment as much as the players to stand up and be counted, dont let yourself down, dont let the team down, we need to be the 12th man, to suck the ball into the net, fill the players with belief and confidence and WE WILL get the result we crave.

This is it blues, this is the chance we have been waiting for we have to seize it and be brave and as we are saying 'fight to the end'. If everton and sunderland prove anything the game is not over until the full time whistle blows so we have to be behind the players right to the end!

THIS IS THE ONE.

Monday night is the kind of breathtaking, heart-stopping contest that we have waited 35 years for.

If we want to be up there with the best, then it is these kind of huge games that we must crave. When we were drawn with United in the FA Cup Semi-final last year (instead of Bolton or Stoke) I was initially hesitant and then defiantly confident. We want the big matches to prove our mettle.

I'm glad that we have the difficult fixture of Newcastle away following the derby. I prefer a huge challenge. With every obstacle we negotiate we become more experienced and resilient.

I'm not sure what I will do with the tension up until 8pm next Monday... but

Agreed, we have to make the home advantage count Evans, jones, young, welbeck, de gea have never really been in this position and our fans can instil panic into their ranks and make them make mistakes.

Stoke are the team that really prove the value of home advantage and we have to make it count. Conversely a nervous tense crowd can transmit through to the players we cant allow this to happen.

If we dont win the title, we dont win it, our time will come again, but we cant let that be because we as fans 'froze' on the big occasion.

Plus : None of the others have been in the position of potentially blowing an 8 point lead so close to the end of the season. IMO all this crap about them being able to handle the pressure better is exactly that. Crap.

We are in the ascendancy again and they will know it. If we don't grasp this golden opportunity we will only have ourselves to blame. 'Freezing' isn't an option. Together we are stronger.
