If us blues really want this......

I wonder about you lot sometimes - have you been to a derby in recent years? The atmosphere is incredible; the support is fantastic.
As to that lot, we stuffed 'em in the cup semi; absolutely battered them at O.T last October, and would have crushed them in the FA cup in January if Kompany hadn't been sent off.
As someone quite rightly said above, half their team has never been in this position before, and the other half that have are past their sell by date, apart from Rooney.
They have a lot more to worry about than we do, and Fergie immediately started putting the pressure on his own players after the Everton game. They've gone from plain sailing to needing results just as much as us. They and their fans will be shitting themselves come next monday - bring it on, and let's crush 'em again. There is no way that they'll be able to live with our passing and movement. Once our noses are in front, it's going to be glorious.

blah, blah, blah....

do you all honestly believe that the fans will sit there as if we was playing Fulham or similar???

City fans have been 'getting up' for the derby game for years and years.....Monday night is going to be no different and I wont need rallying calls on here to make me sing/support the lads better than usual.

This!!! The crowd will be well up for it as we always are home or away it's a derby and as well as a title at stake there's also pride. Can already hear the atmosphere and I recon it's gunna be as loud as Hamburg if not better.

Well said. These are the facts of the matter. We aren't the ones who should be worrying. It's all going to work out fine.

It hasn't even started yet. By Monday they'll be bringing bananas, ticker tape, holding up cardboard letters, the lot.

The atmosphere will look after itself. If we don't win it will be because we underperformed or had awful luck.

There was a long and detailed thread on here before the Wembley derby last year suggesting that the club allocated a section of Wembley as a "singing section".

Can you believe it?

Lets make it a Paul Calf day after the success of the Alan Partridge day at Norwich. Just imagine the players reaction when they see all those mullett haircuts, theyll be well up for it.

Anyone know where you can buy inflatable mulletts and some cellotape?

I can tell you really want it, Billy.

I hope others follow suit or this title will be lost and it will be their fault.

I do know that City have some suprises lined up for the evening....dont want to give to much away. I will say that one involves a High Wire, Ricky Hatton and a Gladiator uniform.
